Breaking Free

I am hurting, deep down inside,
Trusting you, in whom I confide.

I can improve; I know how to.
I thought all my problems were over and through.

I am strong, it's plain to see.
But, why do I only find the worst in me?

My shameful days are over; it won't be long
till I am happy once again and all my sorrows are gone.
