As Long As We Stay Friends...
In the beginning we started as friends,
but we crossed that line that makes it all end.
We grew closer and closer as the days went by
not knowing what would happen, we gave it a try.
Each and every night we'd sit and talk forever,
but nothing else mattered as long as we were together.
Anytime I needed him, he was always there
to tell me that, no matter what... he would always care.
When I felt like crying he would wipe my tears
and whisper, "It'll be ok," softly in my ear.
Then after a while I felt it start slipping away,
I could feel it coming, but there was nothing I could say.
One night we decided to let each other go,
we both agreed to it, but it hurt me so.
In the end maybe we'll be together,
but the only thing that matters...
is we stay friends, forever!
