How do you say good-bye
to someone you can't physically say good-bye to,
do you say it with prayer,
or wait your whole life through,
how do you say good-bye
to someone who you don't want to see go,
do you hide within yourself and not let anyone know,
it broke my heart to see her go,
but it broke my heart even more to see her in pain,
she was the world's most perfect person,
and I know she is in a better place,
a place where the grass is greener,
a place where her husband is nearer,
a place of hope and loving care,
not of pain nor ripping fear,
where bodies become one,
and words go drifting,
a warmth taking over so comfortably,
knowing it will last longer
than just an eternity,
yes, I know we all miss her dearly,
and that will always stay true,
Grandma, all of us will always
miss, care, and forever, love you...
