My Angel came to me
the same as in all my dreams...
To be my salvation
from a lifetime of despair...
My Angel arrived
When all that was left to feel
was a sense of hopelessness.
Although living with many,
still a constant lonliness...
Continually seeking, having the knowledge
There was so much more left to discover.
Therefore I made the great escape
to fall into outstretched arms
Patiently waiting to shelter me...
Keeping me always safe and secure
from the storm I had been engulfed in...
There had been part of myself
that was so long forgotten,
Lost in a world of neglect...
My Angel had rescued me
from all I was preventing myself from being...
There will no longer be a yearning
of all that is unknown...
In my life there has been much pain and sorrow
but at last it can be left behind...
Because my Angel has given to me...
All I've ever longed for,
Always dreaming of having...
A friend forever to be there
through all that might arise...
A shoulder to cry upon
when I'm feeling the weight of the world...
A tender smile to look upon
when I need to see it the most...
Loving arms to wrap me in
when I need to feel secure...
An unconditional love like I've never had
Always needing to feel...
But mostly My Angel has given to me
entirely and without question
All of herself and all that she is...
For she is now and for always,
Everything in the world to me
I could never ask for more...
I am ever so grateful that I finally
Found My Angel...
