I wish we could be friends again
and share the memories we've made,
but you said some mean things
and they really did hurt,
and in my heart is where they will stay.
I thought by telling you what I felt
you would understand and be my friend,
but you overreacted and acted mean,
so our friendship is now at its end.
I hate not talking, it kills me so much
to not even have you look at me,
but I'm not the one who has to say 'sorry,'
for you are the one who wants to be free.
I hate to see everything end,
and hate to say good-bye
but you are the one who is mad at me,
so now all I do is cry.
I don't want to care about you anymore,
you're simply not worth the pain,
but you took our friendship and the love I HAD for you
and made it into a game.
You'll never see the pain you caused me,
and, quite frankly, you'll never care,
I am the one who should be set free of this pain
and this feeling of despair.
Friends tell me to let go, as do you, but see
it's simply not that easy,
Even though you broke my heart, shattered my dreams
and caused this misery.
I won't say 'sorry' for calling you an "a$$h---",
because that is what you are!
Yet, you still make me feel like it is all my fault
and that I should go somewhere far.
I say this now and I'll mean what I say,
I shouldn't be the one to worry,
I've made my attempts of fixing my faults,
but for what I have said about you... I am NOT sorry.
