You Never Really Know

By: Ashley Elizabeth Swicegood

It's true isn't it?
You never really know.
You never can tell just
How much someone means to you
Untill they let you go.

It's the same isn't it?
You never really know.
You can always suspect,
You can always inquire & ask,
But it always comes unexpectedly.

It never really changes, does it?
You never really know.
You live through it,
You are inside, and you suffer so much,
But people leave you anyway.

It comes so quickly, doesn't it?
You never really know.
But one day you may awaken,
One day everythings- so different,
nothings the same,
And you've seen it before.

It will happen again won't it?
You never really know.
It may, or may not,
But who's to say untill they
leave you and you realize,
You never really knew.
