Nemisis
Selfishly, one day I had to ask myself
why isn't the love I so readily give,
reciprocated back by someone else?
Then, a voice answered back and said,
'I am appointed as your Nemesis.
For every heart you have broken,
you will suffer more than them!'
'Remember those who beckoned you,
who loved you completely,
just as heartless as you left them there,
your heart of stone will also remain empty.'
'Remember those who bared their soul,
and you chose to pay them no heed,
well, now no matter how alone you feel,
you will remain crawling on your knees!"
'Remember those whose happiness,
you blew out like a candle's burning flame?
you will spend your days searching
for someone that loves you just the same!'
'Remember those whose peace you destroyed?
you will wander through this life
praying for the same peace,
but your heart will remain empty and void!'
