Bad Habit

By: Shan L. Tucker

She treat's him wrong,
she dogs him out,
she makes him think she's all he's got,
but she's wrong.
He can do so much better on his own, by himself,
he doen't need anybody else,
at least not like her.

She's a bad habit he should kick to the curb,
and he does, at least he try's,
but she'e got this hold on him he can't deny.
She goes out with so many different guys,
you couldn't count them on your fingers and toes if you tried.
Coming back to her is a bad habit of his,
because late at night she leaves him with nothing but tears.

Not to say he's S.O.F.T., but
this man has emotions as well as you and me
and should be treated like a human being,
not like a doll on a string.
Yeah she toys with his heart,
steps on it, stabs it, you know why?
Because she's a bad Habit.

Something in your mind you think you need,
but the truth is you need to cut it loose and be free.
This girl did nothing but bring him down,
but, suprisingly, he came around
and filled her ears with the same words that he had once heard.
From whom? Her-
and gave her just what she deserved.

How? Because he kicked the habit and got free of her control,
now this, to him, is just a stroll down memory lane,
because he finally found a girl that could make him happy in every way.
She's the one who's standing in front of you today,
the back to his bone, the good habit
he shold have been with all along.
ME! Kick the habit, What ever it is.

To all the ones who have a bad habit
that you think you can't get rid of,
you can just think about this poem and Kick It.
Control The Habit, Don't Let It Control You.
