The day i met you was not one of my best days
but as i grew closer to you
things became very interesting between us.
You became my best friend
i thank you for being there for me when no one else was.
For having my back through troubled times,
for treating me with the respect
that i didn't get from most guys.
For being real with every conversation that we've had
and for trusting me with the secrets you have shared with me.
I just can't thank you enough
for all you have done for me.
You made me realize that i have more respect for myself
then any other girl.
Hopefully that path will continue with me.
This has really been a wonderful experience
to see what it's really like from a guy's point of view.
Now i will know what to expect when meeting someone new.
