Goodbye Mommy
There is no way to express the way I feel.
Loosing everything takes time to heal.
One day my Mother walked out and didn't come back.
That was the worst time in my life; I wish I could take it all back.
Daddy cried every night and Lisa and I didn't know what to do.
It seemed like the world had just ended; everything was so blue.
Mommy wasn't there anymore...
To say our prayers before bed and give us sweet kisses good night;
To wake us up in the morning without a frown in sight.
Life changed in an instant and nothing will ever be the same.
I will let my mommy know that I still love her in my own special way.
Life is to short to dwell on broken hearts.
Mommy left, but I will always love her; we can never be torn apart.
God gave us a bond that we will always share.
Even though I was hurt I can let go and look to the future
that will always be there.
