The Knight Sent from Above
Like lightning in a storm,
you came and made the demons
of my life dissappear.
You brought back my angels and left me in awe.
I knew pure happiness again.
My face radiant, I glowed like a lightbulb.
I felt like a Princess, adored and beautiful.
Warmth, gentleness and attention was what
I sought, and that's what I received.
You made me forget all the
hurt inside me. You were my knight, my rescuer,
if only for one night. I was left breathless,
but very much alive.
Thank You for making me feel like this.
You made me see that I have to let go of the
past and move on; to live in the present is even better.
I don't want to miss out.
