It's been a long time since I've seen you

I realized that you were just lying to me
You never intended coming back
My image of who you really were was blown away
After I found out who you really were
You made me believe that you were considerate of me
But I was played for a fool
I should have realized you for what you actually were
A lying, cheating, self-centered man with one thing intended for me
You used me for your own personal device
I finally realized what game you play
I won't be played... in your sick game
I've become a stronger person
I can and I will restrain myself from running back into your arms
I have the willpower to say good-bye to you
Memories of our past may linger in my mind
