I had a dream
I had a dream and there was no surprise,
It was of me lost in your eyes.
Not just that- also your body, your hair, your mind, just every detail.
Causing me to wake up in a cold sweat with my skin color pale.
I thought I’d settled it with myself, friends we would be,
I hope my dream isn’t telling me, that’s not meant to be.
Not to say it wouldn’t be wrong,
But I’m afraid that possibly a lost friendship would end in a sad song.
There’s too much to lose because as friends you and I are new.
A decision must be made and I think it is done.
All I want to know is in the end, that there is no way you’ll be gone.
