Satisfaction

By: Laura J Wilson

You make us unhappy,
but we still laugh,
so you are not satisfied.

You send us pictures,
we close our eyes,
so you are not satisfied.

You send us letters,
we push then away,
so you are not satisfied.

You break your promises,
but that was expected,
so you are not satisfied.

You make phone calls,
we hang up,
so you are not satisfied.

You see us together,
after all we've been though,
so you are not satisfied.

You've caused sleepless nights,
but we're whole in the morning,
so you are not satisfied.

You pushed to the limits,
and my grandpa died,
now are you satisfied?
