My Friend

By: Lyndi Myers

Long ago when we were friends.
We had dreams that could never end,
together always were we, now, alone just me.
Me alone, just to wait to see,
if you and I were meant to be.
I laugh, I cry but I always ask why?
Why you left me, why you died?

You were there for me, but then me not for you.
Your words calmed my aching soul.
Words of wisdom,
Words so true,
Words of wisdom to help me control,
the fear I had to console.

Now, me all alone.
For I wish the power you behold.
You were brave, I was shy.
Now alone, I

You left with hope and left me with fear.
I wish this once i could see you,
I wish this once i could tell you.
My beloved friend, I miss you.
I miss you dearly day and night,
I miss you dearly in fright.
Will this pain ever end?
No way to know.
My best best friend
