A Stream of Teardrops
Last night
i constructed and decorated
an attractive snow rose
for you, identical to the
one you made me over sandy
beaches of pensacola, florida
during our summer journey-
which a vigorous wave
washed away soon
and abolished its sign
of tenderness.
However, i placed
this snow rose
in your favorite golden vase
on my desk near our picture.
As the morning breeze approached
the grief of your absence
vanished away the rose
besides, and left the vase filled
with a stream of teardrops.
