Two More Angels To Heaven
We just got struck from the last side

The car is spinning way too fast
All I am seeing is my past
I can't believe this is happening to my friends and me
just right when we spun some more and then we hit a tree
No movement was made by any of us
I just wanted to live. I had to. I must
My family and my friends I'll leave behind
if only those would have used their minds
The driver drank way too much
then he got behind the wheel and hit us with a crunch
But why has nothing happened to him
how come our lives have gotten so dim?
My friends and I have never done anything wrong
we were just driving and singing our favorite song
I now hear the cop say one of my friends is dead
the rights to the drunk driver I heard were read
He just went to jail with a bump and a bruise
but who are the real ones to lose?
We have to pay for having some no good fun
just then I heard my mom say "It's going to be ok, hun"
I nodded in response to what she just said
while I was being rushed off on this long hard bed
Into the ambulance I just went
while to the morgue my best friend just had been sent
On the way to the hospital I hear the paramedic say
"She is not going to make it, we will lose her on the way"
What I just heard hurt my ears
but the thing that hurt the most I could not shed any tears
I guess it is my time to go
But I keep wondering what if that driver just said "No"
give my mom my love and a kiss
and tell her by me she will truly be missed
Tell my daddy that I love him very much
and one dad with my angel wings he will be touched
My line is getting smaller on that dark screen
and let the basketball girls know I have love for the team
To heaven now I'll fly far away
But don't miss me because we will see each other again some day.
