Your Butterfly

By: Janessa Marie Garrett

To you, I am a butterfly.
Look at me, so beautiful you say.

Take caution, don't touch these wings.
You and your love might turn them to dust.

Alone, I stand.
Reaching for your love.

Begging, touch these wings.
Break them if you must.

Just don't leave me.
As even with wings,
without your love...

I am alone.
