Unexpected Friend
I was minding my own life
When suddenly you came out of no where
Never had a chance to come near you
‘Coz I always give you that ugly grinch look.
Being friends was the least I expected
Oh what a hell, I don’t give a care
But nevertheless, things had to change
And things did really changed…
You tell me things I didn’t know
Craziest things and secrets, too hard to reveal
Trust was there from time to time
Nothing to worry, neither fuss about
Unexpected things are always meant to happen
The scariest thing anyone could ever imagine
Deepest thoughts and secrets always left behind
Never seem to bother, never seem to care.
We’re both scared to admit it
But deep inside our hearts we feel something real
We decided to depart and go quiet
Afraid to ask questions, afraid to answer too…
Our being friends, I guess, is all that matters
There's nothing more we can do
It's hard to accept though
We both can feel it
Pain still there, I feel it every now and then
But as days passed by I finally realized
I have to move on and learn to accept
That you'll always be that unexpected friend
A friend whom I'll always remember and never forget
