This is a poem
to just let you know
that you are special to me
and I will never let you go.
As the years go by
you will stay in my mind.
You were once part of my life
and I'll never leave your memory behind.
I'll always cherish
the love that we had
and all the times we shared together,
the good ones and the bad.
I'll never forget
the way you made me feel inside
and even though we didn't work,
I know at least we tried.
There will always be something special
between you and I
and I'll always be proud to say
that you were once my guy.
I promise that I mean
every word I've said above,
but the last thing I must say
is that I'll never forget you...My first true love.
