Redesing
I sit and think of a simpler time
when I thought you'd always be mine
but now your feelings are hard to define
and our relationship in need of redesign.
Easy this is not
but I will give it my best shot.
For the sake of you and I
I will give it my best try.
I will think of you often
and my anger will soften.
Hopefully we will both grow
so I can stop feeling so low.
To you my heart will always belong
even if we can't get along.
