your eyes are so pretty
your smile is divine
i always wonder
if you will ever be mine.
even though the
answer is no
i'll find a way
to let you know.
i dream that one day
we'll be hand in hand
and somehow i'll
make you understand.
my friends say i
should try at least
but i know you don't want to be seen
with this horrible beast.
even after all
you've been through
i'll be there to make you smile
that i promise you.
when we're apart
i find it very hard to smile
i long to have you here with me
even for just a little while.
you don't care for me
the way i care for you
to have you here with me
there's nothing i won't do.
'cause even though
he makes you cry
i still wish
you would give me a try.
