Good-Bye, Grandma
It's hard for me to say good-bye,
This, I cannot lie.
You've been very special to me,
I'll miss you lots as you can see.
I remember the way you smiled,
Patted your chair and said, "Stay Awhile."
You always made a fuss,
Making sure things were just right with us.
Now you're gone to a better place,
But in my heart there's this little space
In which nobody can ever replace you.
This is the same for Grandpa, too.
Now it's time for me to let you go.
I know that you know I love you so.
I'll skip saying hi,
And just say good-bye.
