Transcending Love
I just don't know where to start,
The first time we met,
or the time we were apart?
Either way, you've always had my heart.
No matter what came between us--
a guy, a girl, or a thousand miles--
it seemed just thinking
of being with you
always gave me a smile.
But, the question that sits in my mind is
"Do you feel the same way?"
I remember those fateful words
as if it were yesterday.
Do I just act as a friend, or a little more?
Sometimes I just want to run to the door--
away from my problems and thinking.
Then, I turn back at you,
and I know I'm never leaving.
