Color Of Your Love

By: Linda Paulina Robson

Blue was the way I was feeling,
Wanting to die: all I could do.
But red was the rose given.
I'd fallen in love with you,

Green is the trees all around us.
White was the phone on which we talked.
But if I remember correctly,
It was you who decided to walk.

Pink were the bed sheets we slept in,
Yellow the big pillow cases.
Why on earth did you pick me out
From all of those beautiful faces.

More to the point of appealing,
Why did you let go of the slack?
All I know is that I am dealing
From the fact you turned color to black.

I love you with all of my heart.
Be with me till the end of our days.
I'll treat you as bright as the rainbow,
And light you till end of our days.

My rainbow doth sweet...
