Angel Face
I've always wanted a little girl,
To dress her up in ribbons and lace,
With golden curls to match her angel face.
For, a little girl of my own,
I'd love to meet.
She'd have her Daddy's blue eyes,
And her Mommy's smile, so sweet.
Instead, I was blessed with a little boy,
Who fills my heart with pride and joy.
He has his Mommy's eyes,
Deepest brown,
His Daddy's smile,
Never a frown.
With me, he goes, every place,
I can never resist his angel face.
I've always wanted a little girl,
Though, I wouldn't trade my little boy
For the whole wide world.
