I sit here alone and wonder why
So many times you've made me cry.
Is it because you love me so?
Is it because "you don't know"?
I love you so much it kills me to see

I am so tired of feeling this pain;
I ask myself of what I have to gain.
I gain you holding me tight,
Telling of your love throughout the night.
Don't just tell me of your thoughts,
Of how you hate the times we've fought.
Show me how you'll love me forevermore,
But don't just show me with a gift from a store.
The way you make me feel
Is that love we have real.
I never want this feeling of love to end,
But in the end most just become friends.
