Lost Friends, Not Forgotten
You sometimes wonder where the time went
How did it pass so fast.
Was our time well spent
And did our new friendships last.
I wonder from time to time
where all of my friends have gone.
Didn't I stay in touch
or did I really stay away.. to long.
I miss seeing them and talking, too
Just having them around, I guess
Missing hearing what they were planning to do
Do I miss my friends, simply put, yes!
I will start today and try to find each one
Not another day will pass that I wonder.
Where they are and where they have gone
And then.. our friendships can grow fonder.
