Must I Wait

By: Amberly Skye Gomez

In Bed i lay alone again,
My thought in play could be a sin.
My lonesome heart slows its beat,
Shivers running head to feet;

So used to comfort by my side,
But the rules of love I can not bide.
So much effort into one,
Then one wrong move your time is done.

All my hope is stilled within,
Will my heart ever win?
Time is passing, still alone,
Throughout my body I cry and moan.

Missing every kiss goodnight,
Hating every quarrel and fight,
Praying someone would show up soon,
So I can leave this lonly room.

Never before has this happened to me,
How should I act? How should I be?
Will he come soon my way
Or will this pain drag day by day?

I can do this, I can wait,
I just hope it's not too late.
Oh, Mr. Right, please find me soon,
And together we'll dance by the light of the moon.
