I often think about the past
and all the wonderful times we shared
but for some reason the love didn't last
in the beginning I said I loved you
and I truly thought i did
but i came to my senses and admitted
I don't know what love is
so in the end I realized my love was vain
but I promise
I never meant to cause you pain
I hurt you
and i'm sorry with the deepest debt
but there was no way
i could keep lying about the way i felt
maybe one day, we shall unite again
but right now I can't be your lover
or your friend
