I asked my lucky star tonight
to make my wish come true,
I must have not wished hard enough,
For I am still missing you.
With every day that passes by,
I try to forget your smile,
Your gentle touch and tender kiss
makes each passing day worth while.
I wish that I could hold you tight
for a breif moment in time,
To be able to say you were with me,
and to say that you are mine.
The star I wished upon tonight
didn't make my fantasy come true,
Because you are still so far away
