LOST LOVE
As I look into the star filled sky.
a tear drop falls from my eye.
I pray to God, up above,
to tell me what happened to our love.
No amount of tears can cover the cost,
of the love I have now lost.
I cry out to God to tell my why,
It was our love that had to die.
As I lay here in my bed,
thoughts of her run through my head.
Remembering the good times we have shared,
and the bad times we both 'bared'
I thought our love was so strong,
now, I search for what went wrong.
Going through the memeories in my mind,
searching for the answers I cannot find.
I hope in time this pain will end,
and, my now broken heart will mend.
But, now I know I must be strong,
I have to carry on.
