With[out]

By: Durrell Alvin Smoot

Without air from the trees
Passing through my lungs
I would die.

With one pull of a trigger
And no remorse
I would die.

Without the element of life
Water
I would die.

With two seconds too long
Under water
I would die.

With one step off
A ten story building
I would die.

With one severe blow
To the head
I would die.

But without you
To complete my world
I could no longer live.
