Missing You

By: Jason Charles Pilkington

Lonely, sitting on the floor
Hoping you walk through the door
Thinking of you makes me sad
I want you here with me, real bad
As I sulk, lying in the bed
If I lost you, I’d be better off dead
All I want is one sweet kiss
That’s one opportunity I wouldn’t miss
Your kiss is like the sun on a hot summers day
I want to love you in every possible way
Your skin is soft to the touch
When we aren’t talking, I miss you so much
As I wipe the tears from my eyes
My love for you never dies
Still lying there, without a clue
I always end up missing you
We go together like the sun and moon
I’ll be at your house in the afternoon
My emotions now, are getting too high
One more hour, I think I might die
Anything I see, touch, or hear
I always think of you, my dear
Our love is as delicate as a feather
Soon enough, we’ll be together
I get out of bed slowly and sad
The thought of you not here, makes me mad
I want you always to be with me
I give you my heart, swallow the key
