Passion

Passion lied to me
It told me to yearn,
It told me to want.
It gave me a drive
to make him mine.
But passsion didn't know.
It didn't know the whole story.
but on it went
convincing me it did.
So passion is what I had for him.

Passion lied to him
It told him to yearn,
It told him to want.
It gave him a drive.
Passion drove him to death.
But now that he is gone
where is passion?
Passion has died and so have I.
