The Day
The day you told me you loved me was an exciting day,
I felt the same way and did not know what to say.
You looked deep into my blue eyes and recited a beautiful poem,
I couldn't believe what I was hearing and suddenly felt cold.
You held me close to keep me warm,
And I held back as the rain began to pour.
I couldn't believe my dream was finally coming true,
But suddenly I woke up to my warm bed, without a clue.
I realized it was just a dream,
Due to the fact I was only thirteen!
