In dreams, I see your gentle face
As kisses, there upon, I place.
In dreams, I hold you close to me
And wonder if this could ever be.

In dreams, we share our every thought
But awake, it's sad that we cannot.
In dreams, we share both, joy and strife
But awake, you have a seperate life.

In dreams, I reach, and you are there
To comfort me and say you care.
In dreams, I feel your wonderous love
And know you're a gift from heaven above.

In dreams, you're mine, completley mine
But awake, we know we've crossed the line.
In dreams, there's no need to apologize
For gazing with love in those deep sad eyes.

In dreams, we're so filled with happiness
But awake, there is no chance for this.
In dreams, our hearts can beat as one
But awake, she calls, and you must run.

For now we have to live with dreams
That come at night like shiney moon beams
To brighten our life, and to warm our hearts
