The Sea

As the sea engulfs my body
the lustful salt-water stings
my bloody heart.
I feel the anguishing pain
and take one step back.
I feel as if the evil
has taken over my body,
leaving me to fend for myself,
With only the sun to guide me.
My feet stumbling, trying to regain balance,
my body weak from the journey,
still I keep hope,
even with my mangled heart bleeding.
