Lyric 25

By: Daydred Easton

I close my eyes and witness this face
overwhelmed with beauty and complacence,
serenity and patience.
By her side, in her arms, is my place.

Ticks of the clock are getting few,
being whole again may not be in my view.
Time is something I'm short on
But, I will wait until all hope is gone.
To give up now would be worthless
for without this pursuit I have no purpose.

Until the day my needs are granted I will wait
Or until the day I walk through that golden gate.
Until my angel God does send
I will hold on until the bitter end.
