GOODBYE MY FRIEND
The time has come when i must go;
how can I tell you in a way that it will not hurt you so.
I must find the way to let you know just how much
you meant to me.
We shared a great friendship together;
one that everyone has always dreamt of having.
Only if we would not have been so close to each other;
maybe the pain of saying goodbye would not be so hard.
Can we ever forgive one another for what we have done,
as we go our seperate ways.
I hope that we have both learned of our mistakes,
may we never let it happen to us again.
So to you my dear friend I must say GOODBYE,
yet I want you to know I enjoyed the friendship we had together.
I loved you as a friend and as my one wish to you;
I hope you find that special friend who will love you so dear,
yet stay by your side forever more.
