With your angelic eyes and your dark hair,
Your wonderous words and penetrating stare.
My heart beat quickens,
It melts away.
I had tried to stay calm,
But I guess I have failed.
With your soothing touch and welcoming arms,
Your calming voice and enclosing charm.
My heart beat races,
Never fading away.
I had tried to keep quiet,
Once again I have failed.
My brush with an angel was sweet and entrancing,
But too short to last for my heart to stop dancing.
Yet it melted and raced,
With one quick glance.
I had tried not to look,
But I would have lost my chance.
