So, I'm writing you this letter, but first off let me say.
I'm not involving myself anymore, though I do hope you'll be okay.

So, I'm writing you this letter, to lay it out on the line.
And I don't wish for you to reply - understand, we've had our time.

So, I'm writing you this letter, thinking of our past.
You and I weren't meant to be, we weren't made to last.

So, I'm writing you this letter, 'cause it's too hard for me to speak out.
Too confusing to hear your voice, I can't risk you bringing me doubt.

So, I'm writing you this letter, not to say I'll be your friend.
But to let you know for me to grow - we finally have to end.

So I'm writing you this letter, so you're aware when you get home.
There will be no more me, and I plan to leave my phone.

So, I'm writing you this letter, 'cause you should know you've gone to far.
But, I doubt you think there's repercussions - 'cause that's the way you are.

So, I'm writing you this letter, with a massive pain in my heart.
But, my mind says to focus, my courage says... new start.

So, this is my goodbye, hoping both our lives get better
I know you'll feel bad, and I can't see you sad...
