Trust

By: Elena Klein

The chinaberry leans against the shed
Or does the shed incline upon the tree?

(I leaned on love and love was stayed by me)

When decrepitude befalls the one or the other,
bereft of its support, will stay a little while
until a winter gale uproots or flattens shed or tree.

(I leaned on love and love was stayed by me)
