Love Is
Love is to me as love is to you
We share the same kind of love; huh? I thought you knew
Love is a word that can not be expressed in actions
Just loving each other through thick and thin, no matter what happens
Love is you, which fills my heart with all the joy inside
Because if you were not here, my dear, it'd be, a long, lonesome ride
Love is that simple word that I can say you and I have
The simple smiles on our faces when we say things and, ha-ha, laugh
To generally think of what love is, I really truly do not know
But you and I, my dear, this is what love is, do you think so?
To show you that I love you and I really do care
No matter what the problems may be, I will always be there
To end this poem with a word or two to say just how I feel
