All I Ask
one by one i light the candles,
all annointed and blessed
upon the altar all is ready
my robes removed
i clasp my dagger
with this dagger i then cast
a sacred circle none shall pass
in perfect love and perfect trust
i call upon the forces great
hear my plea and aide my quest
upon bended knee with arms outstretched
i whisper please help me
my soul grows weary of its struggle
my heart yet bleeds from thy wounds
my tear stained face greets the moon's full glow
this night of night i make this request
may the goddess grant me this one wish
to make me strong beyond compare
turn my heart to stone is all i ask
never again to falter from betrayal
never again to bleed from wounds unseen
to be strong and cold against this world
made of stone is all i ask... please help me
