My Hurting Heart
There is no easy way to say this
There is so much you should know
There is so much hurt inside me
I'm trying not to show
He doesn't know the details
Of how my heart does yearn
He'll never know my feelings
Unless I help him learn
He sees me as a special friend
To me he is more than that
My feelings go way deeper
It's hard to hold them back
If he doesn't know by now
There's surely something wrong
Doesn't he know I love him?
For him my heart beats strong
Our relationship is so confusing
I'm not sure what to feel
But as the old saying goes
