Who I Am
I am not a poet nor ever wrote poetry but I write what I feel
deep within me.
I am a guy who has been there, experienced good and bad
but I am also a guy who forgives and forgets.
My heart speaks for me, helps me make my decisions.
It is my heart that leads you to your decisions about me.
My heart is a gentle thing for it has been through it's share
of heart ache and pain.
But all the aches and pains disappear in time
for it is a lesson I learn from and improve on.
For people who know me can say if you look inside of him you
see a different side of a man.
Realize that he can and does feel for that special someone,
something different, something special.
He gives all that he can most of the time
hoping and praying for someone to appreciate this side.
As I close my eyes, memories of the past are recalled.
Some good, that bring a smile to my face
but alot of bad that make me shed my tears of pain.
It's hard to find someone whom I can trust and love with all my heart.
For that person out there I ask of you,
"Please wait, for I will find you soon and never let you go."
But life is tricky also, for that person might be the one
standing along side of you already...
