THREE WISHES
I had this dream
I was walking on the beach
I saw something in the water
That I thought I could reach.
It turned out to be a bottle
With a little Genie inside
Said you have three wishes
Take your time and decide.
It didn’t take long
For three to come to mind
They’re things I’ve always wanted
But never able to find.
For my very first wish
It’s not for lots of money
But for someone very special
That I can call my honey.
Now for my second wish
She'll be different from my past
Someone with common interests
So our connection will always last.
For my third and final wish
The most important one of all
We share all our hopes and dreams
And it’s head over heals we fall.
Then I opened my eyes
And in front of me was you
It was then I came to realize
All three wishes had come true.
