Good-bye
Two words with such powerful meaning,
It brings out so many unwanted feelings.
How can something so simple be so difficult to say?
When I'm with you there is nothing I would like more
Than to keep you with me forever.
If only I were capable of pausing time;
I'd pause the times when you look into my eyes,
I would hold that moment for plenty of endless time.
My heart is so empty without you.
But at the end of the day, it's always good-bye.
So hard it is for me to say.
I dream of the day when you are mine, and I am yours,
That will be the day when I'll stop fearing those words.
