Kirsten's Poem #1
I look out my window
and see the beauty God has created
I see green trees with a backdrop of a clear blue sky
I see the flowers blooming in my garden
I see a robin gently perched on a branch
I begin to realize that all of nature is singing praise to God
For, how he has blessed them
The trees dance to the melody of the wind
The flowers bloom and show God all the beauty they have inside
The robin sings a glorious song of praise to God
I look out my window and wonder
How do I praise God?
How can I glorify Him in a way he is worthy of?
I look out my window and decide
that I will worship God by loving you
God has blessed me more than I can ever justify
by giving me you
His grace is overwhelming
So, like a tree I will dance
And show God how much I appreciate what he ahs blessed me with
Like a flower I will proclaim to all the world
That the beauty of our love is the beauty God gives
So, like the robin, every day I will sing my song of praise to God
by loving you more than any man has ever loved a woman
Though I will fall short
I will try to love you as God loves me.
